WHAT SIZE FOR A CHILDREN'S BIKE?
The most accurate way to find the right size for a children's bike is to measure the inside leg length. The child's age and height are rather imprecise, as each child grows at a different rate and has different proportions of arms and legs.
HOW TO MEASURE THE INSIDE LEG LENGTH TO DETERMINE THE FRAME SIZE IN INCHES
- Lean your child in socks with their heels against a wall
- Position a book as high as possible between the child's legs, but without pressure.
- Measure the distance from the top edge of the book to the floor in centimeters. This value corresponds to the inside leg length.
- Compare the measured value with the following size chart. This will help you find exactly the right bike for your child!
Tip: The information in the tables usually applies when the saddle is all the way down - then the child's feet will reach the ground comfortably. And as far as the “durability” of the bike is concerned: thanks to the height-adjustable saddle and handlebars, the children's bike will grow with your child for a long time!
