Shimano brake disc SM-RT86 Ice-Tech

The Shimano brake disc SM-RT86 Ice-Tech consists of a sandwich composite. The core is made of aluminium. The outer material is stainless steel. This two-piece construction provides greater rigidity and lower weight.

The self-cleaning shape extends the service life of the disc and coating. You get constant braking power, less fading and much quieter braking.

Sandwich brake discs and Ice-Technology brake pads significantly reduce the heat development in the brake system. This in turn reduces fading, resulting in consistently high performance even on long descents.
